National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited has announced notification for the recruitment of 235 Diploma Trainee vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply online from 03-12-2015 at 10:00 AM to 23-12-2015 till Midnight. Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should be 25 years (35 years for Land Oustees) as on 23-12-2015. Age relaxations are applicable as per govt. guidelines.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Full time regular Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering for Electrical, Full time regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering for Mechanical, Full time regular Diploma in Civil Engineering for Civil, Full time regular Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering for C&I. All the candidates must pass with minimum 70% marks.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will have to undergo two hours Objective Typewritten Examination / Test.
About Written Test :- The All India Test is scheduled to be held on 13/03/2016 (Sunday). The test can be taken in Hindi or English. Candidates will have to give their choice for appearing in Hindi or English at the time of applying for the post, which cannot be changed subsequently. The test will be in two parts. Part-I will be Knowledge Test and will consist of 70 multiple-choice questions in respective discipline. Part-II will be Aptitude Test and will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions on English, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning. 1/4- mark will be deducted for each wrong / multiple answered question. There is separate qualifying mark in each part.
Application Fee: Candidate belonging to General / OBC category is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹ 300/-. No fee for The SC/ ST/ PWD/ XSM candidates. State Bank of India (SBI) has been authorized to collect the registration fee, in a specially opened account number (A/C NO. 30987919993) at CAG branch (Branch Code: 09996), New Delhi, on behalf of NTPC. Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the "pay-in-slip" which is available on the application registration portal of NTPC.

3. Make a payment through State Bank of India.
4. Application form will appear in the screen, candidate is required to fill up the application form.
5. Click on submit button.
6. After Submission, take a printout copy of online application for future use.
